We have a drying rack bought from a local store. The price was good, and with dainty use it has held up fine. But I wanted a rack to put wet/damp things on while they are waiting to be washed. That includes heavy towels that after washing will go into the dryer and not on a drying rack. One rack wasn't enough to put both clean and dirty things on to dry. So I wanted a second one. And I wanted it to be sturdy enough to drape wet towels along with other things.
I did a lot of research on Amazon, and THANK YOU to those who wrote reviews of this drying rack! It helped me to find just the right one. So I'm adding a review to help others!
This is a big rack, substantially bigger than the one we bought at the local store. So if your space for a drying rack is tiny, you'll probably want to get something more compact.
I have room for it, though, and it is also easy to pick up and move around. I think it's best to pick it up by the second level than by the top level, since the top level hooks it together. But it's very easy to reach one level lower and lift by holding at the side X's.
It was packed securely in a generous box and plenty of paper, and arrived in perfect condition. All I had to do was remove the wrapping, and then unfold it and set the notches of the upper rack over the edge. Just unfold--no assembly. Whoopee!
It cost about twice as much as I would have paid to get one at bargain price from the local store, but it's at least twice as good. I hope BOTH of them last a long, long time. I will use them both, happily!

Easy to set up in just a few minutes. My wife really likes it. I had to use tye-wraps to keep it from un-intentionally collapsing. Good quality materials.

This product has absolutely met my expectations. It was a little hard to set up, because it was folded down very tightly. But it arrived with all the plastic tips in place, so I didn't have the problems that some of the other reviewers had. It looks nice, has a good amount of space for hanging, and is sturdy. The only reason I am giving it 4 stars is because is because it does lean slightly to one side, but I am hoping I can adjust it. I would recommend this product.

Works great, pretty sturdy, good for a small to medium load of laundry -- will need 2 if you want to do a full load. Have not noticed any rusting. Clothes dry out in a matter of hours and even overnight now that it's summer. Very happy with it.

This rack looks and feels sturdy and I am very pleased with it. It already seems significantly better than anything I have seen and/or bought at ikea or target.
After all of the money and resources wasted on products of very poor quality and lifespam, it is exciting to receive one that looks truly durable. I will update this review after having it for awhile.
